Cheadle Hospital has 2 wards with a total of 47 beds, including one supportive therapies day case bed. The hospital largely provides rehabilitation/intermediate care following an Acute Hospital admission and direct admissions from home to prevent an admission

Children's Occupational Therapy
Children's OT work with children who have a physical disability or difficulty which impacts on their ability to carry out self care tasks (washing, dressing eating and drinking), schoolwork tasks (managing the physical aspects of schoolwork task) and play/leisure activities.
Children's Physiotherapy Service - Northern Division
The Children’s Physiotherapy Service provides specialised physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of children and young people aged from birth to 16 years within the mainstream school system and 19 years if attending a special school.
Chronic Pain Management
This is a multidisciplinary community based service that provides a complete pathway for the management of patients suffering from chronic pain symptoms.
Community Cardiac Nurses (Burntwood, Lichfield and Tamworth)
We provide Phase II visits for all patients in the Burntwood, Lichfield and Tamworth area who have had MI, Stents and/or CABG and Valve Surgery and provide Phase III exercise programme in the community. We provide Heart Failure clinics within the community for up titration of heart failure medication and offer telephone support and follow up.

The Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) Specialist Nurse Team provides education, advice and support to patients with CHD, for example Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) and Angina.
The team review patients with CHD mainly in a home setting following referral from hospital, their GP practice or other Health Professionals.
