What do we do?

Provide long term mobility needs for indoor and outdoor use.  To provide specialised seating for people with complex need.

What do we offer you?

• Specialist clinical assessments for the provision of wheelchairs
• Issue of manual and electric wheelchairs
• Advise on how to drive our electric wheelchairs.
• Clinical assessments for specialised wheelchair seating
• Children’s’ wheelchairs
• Pressure relieving cushions for use in our wheelchairs
• Repair and maintenance service for our wheelchairs.                   

Where we are based?

Specialised Mobility Centre, Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, Stoke on Trent  ST6 7AG

We have accessible toilets, parking including blue badge parking, refreshments and the building is wheelchair friendly.

How do you access us?

Patients who need a wheelchair/seating for six months or longer for both indoor and outdoor use will be referred to the service by a health professional.
