Last chance for the public to nominate in community NHS Trust staff awards
02 February 2017

With just over one week to go until the closing date of Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust’s Celebrating Excellence Awards, leaders at the Trust are encouraging local people in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to nominate community health and social care staff who go above and beyond in their duties to provide exceptional care.

Nominations for Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust’s annual Celebrating Excellence Awards close on Friday 10 February 2017.

This year local people who use community health services in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent and adult social care services in Staffordshire are being asked to nominate staff in a variety of categories.

Patients, carers, relatives, partner organisations and Trust staff are all able to nominate staff that work within any of the Partnership Trust’s health and social care services.

Partnership Trust Chief Executive, Stuart Poynor said: “When visiting teams across the Trust I regularly witness examples of fantastic work by staff in all areas, including clinical and non-clinical settings. The awards are a chance to celebrate those staff who truly do go above and beyond to benefit the local people we care for.”

Mr Poynor added: “The fantastic nominations we receive each year are a reminder of how dedicated our staff are and I’d ask everyone who has experienced the high quality care of our services to nominate and help us to celebrate the excellence of our staff.”

Nominations can be made online at www.staffordshireandstokeontrent.nhs.uk/CE2017

An awards ceremony celebrating the shortlisted candidates and winners will take place in May 2017.
