Important Sexual Health Service Information from 1st October 2018

From October 1st Sexual Health Services at Cannock Hospital have temporarily transferred to:

Stafford Clinic, 2nd Floor, Civic Offices,

• Test kits can be ordered online. To order a free testing kit please go to www.sh24.org.uk
• To book an appointment on line go to www.openclinic.org.uk Appointments are available in Stafford, Tamworth and Burton.
• Emergency contraception is available at your local pharmacy, GP health centres, out of hours GP service and Minor Injuries

Sexual Health Services will resume in Cannock from November 23rd at a new venue, Park House, 12 Park Road, Cannock, WS11 1JN – please check our website www.openclinic.org.uk for further details.


Don’t forget: If you require emergency contraception and one of our clinics is not open or available, the morning after pill is available from your local pharmacy, GP health centre, out of hours GP service or contact your local Minor Injuries Department. 

Everyone in South Staffordshire will continue to have access to sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment and provision of contraception  regardless of where they live in the County.  The staff that currently work in our sexual health clinics may change however, local pharmacies and GPs will continue to provide help and advice for anyone who wants to maintain good sexual health. GPs will also continue to provide coils and implants alongside emergency contraceptive methods.
