Sexual Health Services in South Staffordshire

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
CHANGES TO YOUR SEXUAL HEALTH SERVICE APRIL 2017
Please be aware that some sexual health clinics in South Staffordshire have now transferred to new locations and are open at different times.

South Staffordshire Sexual Health Services are transforming!

From Saturday 1st April 2017 Sexual Health Services across South Staffordshire will be managed by South Staffordshire and Shropshire NHS Foundation Trust. This means that there will be some changes to the times and locations of your sexual health clinics and what’s on offer.

As the sexual health service transfers to the new provider, all patient care records will remain confidential and will transfer with the service; this is to ensure we are able to continue to deliver the best possible service and clinical care for local people.

Our sexual health clinics will be available at the following locations: Tamworth, Burton, Stafford and Cannock.

Visit our new website to view the up to date sexual health clinic timetable and for more service information:

Or to speak to our South Staffordshire sexual health team on:

Don’t forget: If you require emergency contraception and one of our clinics is not open or available, the morning after pill is available from your local pharmacy, GP health centre, out of hours GP service or contact your local Minor Injuries Department.

Everyone in South Staffordshire will continue to have access to sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment and provision of contraception  regardless of where they live in the County.  The staff that currently work in our sexual health clinics may change however, local pharmacies and GPs will continue to provide help and advice for anyone who wants to maintain good sexual health. GPs will also continue to provide coils and implants alongside emergency contraceptive methods.
